Our Origins
MPA carries forward the spirit of the Michigan Paranormal Alliance, a research and education group that operated from 2000 to 2019 and was dedicated to investigating the unexplained, the symbolic, and the mystical. Over nearly two decades, the Michigan Paranormal Alliance built a community of curious minds, rigorous researchers, and practicing students of esoteric traditions. When that chapter closed, we chose not to let that legacy fade — instead, we expanded it into the broader, richer platform you find here today.
The transition from the Michigan Paranormal Alliance to Mysteries, Prophecies & Arcana reflects a deliberate evolution: from investigation to education, from regional to global, from niche paranormal research to comprehensive coverage of the esoteric landscape across cultures and centuries.

Editorial Philosophy
Our editorial approach rests on three pillars:
Accuracy. Every article at MPA is researched with care. We draw on primary sources — historical texts, traditional manuals, established practitioners — rather than recycling common internet myths. Where interpretations vary across traditions, we say so clearly.
Depth. Esoteric subjects deserve more than surface-level summaries. Our guides go beyond the basics, exploring symbolism, history, psychological resonance, and practical application in real life.
Multiple Traditions Represented. Esoteric knowledge is not monolithic. Western astrology, Vedic astrology, and Chinese astrology each offer distinct and valuable frameworks. Jungian depth psychology enriches our understanding of dream symbols and archetypes. We believe these traditions are most valuable when explored on their own terms — and even more illuminating when placed in dialogue with each other.
Our Team
MPA’s content is written by six contributors, each with a distinct area of expertise and a voice shaped by years of real-world practice:
- Stella Morgan — Veteran astrologer with 40+ years of chart-reading experience. Stella writes our zodiac sign profiles, compatibility analyses, and transit interpretations. Her voice is warm, grounded, and drawn from decades of working directly with clients.
- Jade Chen — Numerologist and crystal educator. Jade covers angel numbers, tarot spreads, and dream guides with the curiosity of someone who discovered these systems firsthand and the rigor of someone who researched them thoroughly.
- Dr. Sarah Blake — Cultural astronomer with a PhD from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Dr. Blake brings academic precision to natal chart interpretation, planetary transits, and the historical traditions behind numerological systems.
- River — Tarot reader and energy healer with 20 years of professional practice. River writes practical guides to every card in the deck, crystal work, and spiritual rituals — grounded in what they have seen work, not what a textbook says.
- Orion Wells — Poet, stargazer, and author of Letters to the Cosmos. Orion writes dream interpretations and horoscopes with the emotional precision and lyrical depth that only a working poet can bring to these subjects.
- Grammy June — Folk healer and keeper of ancestral traditions. Grammy June covers name meanings, saints, and spiritual rituals drawn from the Appalachian folk healing tradition she has practiced for over sixty years.
Each contributor writes from genuine expertise in their domain. Our editorial process ensures accuracy, depth, and consistency across all content while preserving the distinct voice that makes each author’s work recognizable.
